Caefire was born on 4 March 1997 in Ndola general hospital Zambia. his real name is Gift Kafula, and Chanda is his middle name. his stage name is Caefire kar aka Mr yes Sana heey. aka Bashi Natasha the name caefire stands for, cae for kafula his surname, fire for mulilo literally fire in icibemba language. caefires origin is from a village in Northern Zambia, he came from a village called chandaweyaya in a town called Kasama ruled by the bemba paramount chief chitimukulu. he started his music when he was 12 years old when he beat drums for the village in kawama, kasani,mulashi muchitamba in kasama village in church. his music passion started when he went to livingstone town, in 2013 where he recorded his first song title of the song balapileko rap in libuyu place to DJ 2p wizzy and another producer who helped me like DJ skeleton aka melvin. DJ drought 3, trancy and dj Mr green, budha record, kc universe, crazy beat, emebezho spaka, genus record,klc, and young wizzy, he went to shungu namutitima primary school and secondary school / namatama / chilese basic school and mahati maghadi about our family am second born we just born 2 nicozine kafula and me gift kafula. .
Having been an artist for 5 years, he constantly explores various disciplines to broaden my own artistic pursuits, integrating my church drumming and voices with sounds and art studies. He begins projects by thoroughly researching and then developing my ideas through creative thinking.
His passion as an artist comes from a lifelong obsession with music and sounds. from a young age, he has always tried to manipulate sounds and voices in order to create something entirely different. He found that using sounds and voices is a way for him to connect with people and nature. the simple act of manipulating sound and voices and shaping it to make something functional or beautiful brings me endless satisfaction.
Caefire is a young talented zambian upcoming artist. Caefire believes that music and arts are not only for Entertainmentment or employment but are also the building blocks for religion, culture, and moral development in society and life. he has recently recorded many compelling songs including a government song titled ‘ ni Edgar Lungu. caefire has also been appointed as art, beat, and sound developer for artistic works in studios.
Currently, his staying in Ndola at a place called itawa and due to his luck he found someone who loves me and help him in music here and there, in other words, his music manager who goes by the name of Mr. Green who recently signed him this year in 2020 at is studio 30 Geezy.
